I Proprietor of the business known as M/s XYZ , R/o Dehradun of holding TIN under the Uttarakhand VAT Act, 2005 hereby state that:
I have discontinued my business from and had the NIL stockof goods are with me on the said date
I, therefore, apply for cancellation of my registration certificate under clause (a) of subsection (1) of section 18 of the said Act.
Further, as I have discontinued my business or wholly transferred my business or ceased to be liable to pay tax, I herewith enclose my registration certificate along-with certified copies thereof for cancellation and the blank statutory forms issued by the Commercial Tax Department.

SIR, DUE TO CLOSER OF BUSINESS I HAD CANCELLED THE VAT NUMBER THROUGH CANCEL VAT REGISTRATION TAB ON DASHBOARD OF MY LOGIN. AT THAT TIME I GOT THE BARCODED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE RECEIPT OF THE CANCELLATION RECEIPT BUT TILL NOW I DID’NT GET ANY FURTHER COMMUNICATION REGARDING MY CANCELLATION STATUS OF MY VAT TIN NUMBER. AND ALL NOT GET MY DEPOSIT REFUNDED. SO LET ME KNOW NOW WHAT PROCEDURE I NEED TO DO FOR GET MY REFUND OF VAT DEPOSIT AND TAX CREDIT BALANCE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF RAISING CANCELLATION REQUEST ONLINE.
