Respected Members of Parole Board,
I, Richard Brown, am writing this letter to request you for an early release of Miss. Ana Smith.
I have known Ana from last three years. Ana is a wonderful human. She is extremely helpful, caring and sensitive. She has always been loyal and committed to her work and that’s the reason she has been able to progress so much in her life in such a short span of time.
I understand that she has been accused stealing money from the debit card of one of her colleagues and I certainly don’t support that. But the reason what made her steal that money at that point in time is because of her urge to shop. She is a shopaholic and she is not able to control her urge to shop when she sees something nice.
I have been keeping in regular touch with her even in jail. I have been going and meeting her regularly and she is really sorry about what she has done. She is sincerely feeling guilty of stealing that money. She has also been attending counselling sessions with a psychologist to help her get over her addiction to shopping.
She has already served a duration of six months out of one year imprisonment and as per the jail authorities, she is a good and well behaved inmate.
She has an amazing and loving family and she is also very popular in her friends. Once she is back, she is going to be staying with her family and we have even looked for a job for her. I have also found a support group that addresses issues of shopaholics and helps them get over their urge to shop.
I will make sure that she is able to fight this issue that has been bothering her since long and I am also very confident that she is not going to repeat such a thing as she is extremely guilty of what she has done.
I am hopeful that you are going to consider her case and approve her parole. In case you need any additional information then you can always get in touch with me at 9898989898.
Sincerely,
Richard Brown
