Declaration of an independent director is a very much legal document that maintains the rules of the Companies Act of the state. The format has the declaration of a directory that contains the statement regarding his/her expertise and experience to be a director, the states or the relationship with the concerned company or its subsidiary and associates and so on. The director has also made a statement regarding the relationship of his/her relatives with the company, in terms of its transaction and managerial or directorial relationship. The declaration should follow the guidelines stated in the Companies Act. Apart from this, it should also give information about DIN number and the complete company’s address.
