Find out everything you need to know about how to become a successful <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.club4ca.com\/formats\/others\/famous-chartered-accountants-india\/\">chartered accountant in India<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Becoming a CA in India<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have come up with a comprehensive guide on becoming a\nChartered Accountant in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step I: CA Foundation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right after your 12<sup>th<\/sup>, you have to appear for CA\nFoundation which is the test to enter into the world of accountancy. This exam\nis called CPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can either sit for it in the month of June or in December and accordingly register for it on ICAI website.<\/li><li>There are 4 subjects in the syllabus and the course is very much similar to what you have studied in your 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup> standard in Commerce stream.<\/li><li>Principle and Practices of Accounting; Mercantile Law and General English; Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics and Business Economics &amp; Business and Commercial Knowledge.<\/li><li>These tests will be partially objective ad partially subjective in nature. First two will be subjective and next two will be objective.<\/li><li>You are allowed to use 12 digits calculator in the exam which makes calculations easier and faster.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You May Like Also:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.club4ca.com\/formats\/students\/ca-articleship-registration-form\/\"><strong>CA Articleship Registration Form<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step II: CA Intermediate<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is also called IPCC. Once you have cleared the\nfoundation, you are eligible for appearing for intermediate. This is a\ndifficult level and demands working harder and studying longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once the result for the foundation is declared,\nthere is a gap of 9 months for intermediate exams.<\/li><li>The syllabus is huge which makes it difficult to\ncrack.<\/li><li>There are two groups, each with 7 subjects.<\/li><li>Both the groups can be taken together and also\nseparately. <\/li><li>You have to balance the coaching with\nself-studies to clear it.<\/li><li>Modules offered by ICAI are extremely important\nas they help you know the pattern of the paper. <\/li><li>Write as many mock tests as possible.<\/li><li>Revision is a must and not just once but a\ncouple of times. Make sure that you complete all your course within 5-6 months\nso that you have 2-3 months to keep revising everything. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step III: Articleship Training<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One you have also cleared CA Intermediate, you are all ready for Articleship Training if you are also done with ITT and OT Program. The duration of Articleship is 3 years in which you have to undergo <strong>training under a CA<\/strong> of your choice. You are eligible to write your exam only after completing Articleship for 2.5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For both the groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All those who have sat for the two groups of\nintermediate must also complete IT training of 100 hours when the result is\nawaited.<\/li><li>Likewise, also complete the OT program in this\nperiod.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For single group:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The candidates must start preparing for the\nother group.<\/li><li>Articleship and next group along with office can\nget very difficult to manage.<\/li><li>You are advised to complete the intermediate\nbefore going for Articleship Training.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step IV: CA Final<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have cleared\nall the stages, you are finally on the last step which is surely not an easy\none.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can\nsit for CA final once you have also done with GMCS and Advanced ITT.<\/li><li>Managing\noffice with studies is really difficult and that is the reason for low passing out\nrate.<\/li><li>It is a\ngood idea to complete the coaching first and then go for the training so that\nyou can simultaneously revise your course as well.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are different\nstages one has to cross before finally becoming a Chartered Accountant in\nIndia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the CA qualification?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chartered Accountant qualification is about clearing all the stages of CA examination mentioned above.
